SHOW #1

We Made It Out Alive

About three months ago when The Tens Demo was pretty much done, we started lightly booking shows. We gave ourselves a decent amount of time so we wouldn't suck and from what people said after the show I think we were the opposite of suck. But back to the story, we booked a show at the Vernors Room in the Crow Foot Complex. We were promised to open up for a touring act, 50$ and some beer. Well we ment "thee" Vinny Vegas, which come to find out is five guys from Baltimore, Maryland. I spent 14$ to get two of people inside. Me, Bill, and Scott each paid 4$ dollars to park. Then I think an additional 4$ was spent on beer and sadly to say nothing was for free except our Vinny Vegas cd we got.
The Tens Live at the Vernors Room

But the show went on. We knocked out twelve songs fast with minor mistakes and minor technical difficulties. Still I think everyone had a good time I mean they had to we threatened their lives. Some pictures were taking which I will post all of them tomorrow but heres a taste for you people addicted to photos. Sadly no video or audio was illegally filmed at the show but I'm hoping to film the next show or at least get an audio recording. I'd love to get some new tracks or something up soon. For those who came to the show you are the only ones who heard The Tens for the first time and you will be the only ones who ever will, congratulations.
Honestly for those of you who showed up thank you so much for coming. I'll make sure you all will be compensated with some free Tens items sometime soon, lets just say there are shirts being made, and I think you guys deserve a free one.

The Ending to our Story

And in the End When the show was finally over and the headliner LEX was no where to be found and Mr. Vegas got off stage again there was no beer or 50$ like promised instead 12 songs and 22 dollars later the guy who ran the door who looked like the fifty five year old version of Larry Murphy (The Red Wing) if he was fat looked at us and said "nice having you" and he tossed me twenty five cents. Thats right one quarter. So we did exactly what you think we did. This:

Yep we rode the Penny Horse which now a days cost twenty five cents not a penny. So I guess its called the Quarter Horse now. Cause in the end music isn't about making money or getting free booze. Its about making something up and throwing it into peolples faces. Punks not Dead, music is.

I promise to post all the stuff from the show and be a little more in depth with what the future holds for The Tens and the Crow Foot complex. gots to go to bed so I can get up and go to work WHY! WHY WHY!
